011 [ action | Jane & OTA ]
[Seated in the Quad this afternoon is one (1) considerably-calmer-and-much-more-sober-than-you-last-saw-him Dave Stutler. He's sitting on the grass, directly in front of a small patch of sprouting flowers, sketchpad and colored pencils in his lap. What he's trying to do is draw, but what he's mostly doing is feeling guilty for a number of things. Mostly for being a jerk to Jane.
He didn't think he was being a jerk at the time, but thinking back on what he said and how Jane reacted, he's pretty sure he owes her an explanation and an apology.
After a bit of sketching, he grabs his comm and sends Ms. Jane Porter the following message, in text:
So I'm trying to draw this flower out here and I keep messing up. If you're free, can you come help me out?
And in case you're wondering, yes, this is mostly an excuse for me to apologize for the other day. That said, if you don't want to talk to me or anything right now, I'll understand. I'm sorry I was a jerk. It was totally unintentional, I swear. See you later, maybe?
And then he goes back to work.]
