Well...I can change my shape, and grow plants, and climb up things without holding on to anything. I know magic songs, too.

That's good, then. Illusion magic is a bit different than the other schools of magic. Anytime a magician makes plants grow or creates fire from nothing is relying on the physical realm.

Illusion magic is more unstable, less concrete. If I'm guessing correctly, then your shapeshifting and song-based magic may help you get more in tune with it.
