[The camera blinks on to the sound of heavy breathing and an unsteady image of what looks like a really humid, foggy room. Dug is trying to position the camera with his mouth… and ultimately failing. He tries propping it up on a stack of books, which reveals a quick flash of golden fur, then it tumbles to the ground.]
Oh, darn.
[Paws appear, moving back and forth; Dug is pacing, trying to figure out how to fix this. Ultimately, he gives up on the camera and comes up with his own solution: He flops down in front of the lens and positions himself so that he looks like he’s facing the camera straight-on (for those of you watching in 3-D, look out for that nose), except he’s really lying on his side. As he speaks, the red light on his collar blinks-but nothing else happens.]
Hello, everyone! My name is Dug. I will be your Tracking teacher this semester. I am a very good tracker, and tracking is important, especially when people go missing. I hope you will all sign up for my class! Please, oh please sign up! You will learn so many things about tracking!
[He starts wiggling. This means his tail is wagging.]
