[Theres a noise, something organic and raw. The ground shakes a bit and you will be jolted out of your sleep. Get to a window and you'll see a flicker, the fence which has stood strong and proud against the black mist... the strangelings.... it's flickering.
It's not gonna hold up long.

Suddenly a sound )
And for a moment-- she freezes. She wants to scream, wants to cry. But she also knows she has to be brave. So she grabs her bear, hugs him close, and does her best to follow the teachers and the other students, keeping near the other girls.]

In Jane's arms, he hugs back. But the name he quietly utters isn't hers.]

[She isn't even hearing what Lotso says. Just hugging him that much tighter and shaking as she hurries along. She has her own mutterings.]
Momma... Nana... I wanna go home.

When was the last time he'd sent a letter back home...?]

[The little girl looks up, widen eyed and clutching her bear.
She kind of whimpers.]
The planes are coming. We--
[It's her turn to be a little brave. She holds Lotso tightly with one arm and grabs Russell's hand.]
We have to get to the shelter.

[But he nods anyway, taking her hand. If he's gotta go to the shelter, he's gotta go.]
