[Theres a noise, something organic and raw. The ground shakes a bit and you will be jolted out of your sleep. Get to a window and you'll see a flicker, the fence which has stood strong and proud against the black mist... the strangelings.... it's flickering.
It's not gonna hold up long.

Suddenly a sound )
Time is running out. She has no idea how quickly, but she can't help but feel this isn't as dire as the Leviathan evacuation. They aren't underwater, their lives not immediately in danger.
She whips around, scanning the halls. Every second, she's trying to keep count, make sure everyone is there. This time-- This time no one gets left behind.
She doesn't know what will become of the rest of them. Those there are no beds in the bunker for. But that's what authority means. That's what responsibility is.]

Hel-- Lieutenant, whatever! Hey, have you seen Blondie around here anywhere? She hasn't gone down already, has she?

[Even as she's speaking, she's trying to keep a tally in her head.
Boys, girls. Teachers.
They should have organized. Should have broken the students into groups. But it's too late for "should have"s. They can only deal with what they have.
She glances at Flynn.]
She'll be safe.
Now, go with the other male students so you will be too.

[But when she sees Helga she makes her way over, arms full of her hair and her single bag of precious things.] Miss Lieutenant!

[One more student accounted for.
She nods to the girl and them makes a motion to keep moving.]

O-Okay, but- but have you seen Flynn anywhere?

Why... did Megamind say that we're all supposed to be separated...?

So, what does she do? Lie. Pretty much.]
Because stress affects young men and young women differently.
Separated, you can each get what you need.

[She turns to Pascal, who's still nested in camouflage on her shoulder. The chameleon simply shrugs. How would I know?]
Well... In that case, I- guess I should at least say goodbye to Flynn for now...

There's not time to let you try and find him.

How much time do we have?

She can't lie.]
No one knows. That's why we're in a hurry. It could be an hour, it could be a minute.

She doesn't want the students scared out of their minds, but they probably already are, and they need to understand the gravity of the situation.
She watches Rapunzel until she's out of sight, then returns her attention to the other students.]

Lieutenant! What th- [She cups her hands around her ears once more.] What in the gods name is this noise?
