**SNAP**
[Her hands were trembling. She did her best to stop the tremor, to not let her fears overcome her; she had faced them, after all. She needed to keep her calm, she needed to keep her calm.]
**SNAP**
[She didn't think of herself as a hero, she had never thought that, even running straight into the face of danger, watching that mountain collapse before her, she had NEVER thought of herself as a hero. She thought of herself as a soldier, as a daughter who never lived up to her parent's expectations, as a woman who didn't quite fit where everyone wanted her, never a hero though. However, she needed to remain calm, people may need her, rely on her, she couldn't let them down, not even with fear itself knocking outside the door.]
**SNAP**
[It had been a while since she had experienced the mist, the past couple of times she had been out saving someone, or too exhausted to care. But it was a lot like being in war, always on constant alert, fine tuned to listen for an attack. Except the threat, in this case, wasn't real. It was maddening, wondering if what you were hearing was real or if it was just another illusion, another memory.]
**SNAP**
[She kept focused on the now. When it felt that the fear was overcoming her, the stress was coming back, that she was in the cold mountains of the Tung Shao pass she pinched herself, HARD(though she recently took up using a rubber band). It was a temporary fix, but it allowed her to see through the fog of panic and continue what ever she was doing.]
**SNAP**
[Was she worried about her family? Sure. However, Mushu would alert her to anything pressing. Besides, she could rely on her father to take care of her mother and grandma. No good would come out of thinking too hard or too long on that subject. She was worried about the others though. Everyone at the school, everyone who she had known who had left.]
**SNAP**
[It frustrated her that she couldn't do anything. While the headmaster had certainly kept everyone in the dark, the teachers were guilty of sheltering the students. Granted not all students were capable, not by a long shot, but she had been a soldier, a member of the Imperial Army. Was there nothing more she could do but sit here and twiddle her fingers?]
**SNAP**
[She sits, frustrated, tired, cranky, her eyes closed on one of the couches in the common room, her left wrist red and sore from the amount of times she had to snap the rubber band on it. She's thinking, thinking, THINKING over every time she encountered the mist, the strangelings, up close and personal. There had to be some weakness, some chink.]
