[Beast is currently stalking the food court, pacing as usual on the opposite end of cafeteria. He was also looking quite fierce, though he felt anything but. Much like the majority of the students, he, too, was fretting over what was going to happen with the school, and whether or not he should return home

[Astrid preferred sitting alone to eat her lunch, and so just happened to be close by when Beast uttered his irritated and slightly puzzling words. Glancing over at him, she spoke through a mouthful of ham.]

[She pats the chair next to hers.] So then learn to control it.

[He just eyes the girl, then the seat, for a while. He exhales, which sounds more like a huff, and sits down.]

I took a girl prisoner, she ran away here because she hated me, I didnt know she was here, but my servants came here too, then I did, then we ran into eachother, and I dont want to go back home without her.

[Astrid didn't blink an eye on the outside, but inside, she was just a little shocked.

Okay, not everyone at this school was good, to be stereotypical, but having someone outright admit to kidnapping was a little strange nonetheless.]

Well you know, when you take someone prisoner and they get away, they aren't normally too keen on coming back. [She raised an eyebrow.] Somehow I feel like you're not telling me quite everything.

Well... things between us have gotten... better. I'm... pretty sure she doesn't hate me any more, but... I don't know if she likes me, either.

[Astrid can't help but smirk a little as she thinks about what he's said. He doesn't want to leave without the girl? This is confusing.]

I didn't kidnap her. Her father trespassed and became a prisoner; she chose to take his place so he would be freed.

[But... that was in the past. And Beast felt horrible about it.]
