His shoulders are drooped for a moment, but then he sits up tall- perhaps as though realizing that those he misses are possibly there as well? The weariness, however, shows through the calm facade.]

I suppose it would be right to say "it's a pleasure to meet you," though considering the circumstances of most of us being here- [A thoughtful pause and a faint, honest smile crosses his lips. as he turns to face the camera.] -Guess I'm still in a pensive mood. [-is said in a rather apologetic tone. He rubs the back of his neck, awkward.] I've just joined the ranks, and I look forward to meeting all of you and learning whatever I can.
[He won't introduce himself just yet, but it looks as though he's been wanting to ask something. He decides to keep his mouth shut for the time being, though. After all, who's to say that there won't be bad news instead? He doubts he'd be able to take it well right now, considering what he'd just found out before arriving here.]
