[The camera feed flicks on, a blur of white, red and purple swirls around as the camera focuses, to reveal a very perculiar looking fellow, the camera seemingly upside down. However, if one looked close enough, they would see that it wasn't the camera that was upside down, but the young man. White hair, pointed ears, sharp facial features. ( Read more... )

[Well depsite the slight cold she had picked up from staying outside in the rain for all that time and the utterly awful mood she was in Ariel couldn't be rude and ignore a new member of staff, she'd at least put on a smile and take on her usual role of welcoming commitee.]

Hello there, It's great to see a new face here. I'm Ariel...

Uh...what's a celtic?

Oh I see! [Giggle] Well that makes sense I guess.

What made you decide to teach at the academy?

an_un_fairfolk December 3 2010, 21:25:54 UTC
It was either teach here, of be locked up on Avalon for thousands of years, if not forever.

[As much as Oberon would hate it, Puck would go ahead and diss the guy every chance he got; including being blunt about the world of the Third Race.]

[Locked up whut? That would imply he's been a prisoner, Oh the poor dear!]

Well at least you're free now, Puck.

But wouldn't that mean you did something wrong? There had to be a reason why you were going to be locked up right?

Oh yes, there's a reason. And his name is Oberon. A cruel and nasty king of the Third Race, who despises his children ever being truly happy with living amongst the humans.

[Sound familiar, Ariel?]

[Oh Puck! Here. Let Ariel smother you with her friendliness, She understands your pain all too dearly and is actually rather excited to have someone who relates to her problems.]

...I'm sorry, Some people just don't understand how wonderful humans really are.

[She looks away from the camera for a moment, reminded of her own issues.]

[Wait, "how wonderful some humans really are"? A human wouldn't talk like that.

Ariel. You are doomed with Puck now.]

That is true; they're just so much fun~.

Well Daddy doesn't think so...

[She sighs.] That's why I came here to be with a human I fell in love with, But I think Daddy wants me to go home I just know it.

[Ahah ahah! He realizes that this non-human is in the same boat, so to speak. Well, sans the love. He takes a mental note.]

Ah, but you see, going home would mean defeat. Those sorts of beings thrive off being in complete control; give them what they want and they'll never let anyone roam free.

I just wish there was a way I could prove to him humans are good, He's so stubborn! [Obviously this is a touchy subject for Ariel Triton makes her so mad sometimes.]

...I'm sorry I've only just met you and I'm already dumping my problems on you. You shouldn't have to listen to me.

[Oh, yes. Humans are good; for a laugh.]

Ah, but that would be quite tricky. Just like other beings aren't all good or bad. There's a mix.

And don't worry about it. It wont ruin my mood~.

Well as long as you're sure.

I wouldn't like to think I'm the one who's made you miserable on your first day here at the academy.

[Just going to watch you hover there, you certainly are an odd one Puck. But there's nothing wrong with odd, Just look at the company the mermaid keeps.]

So. Are you interested in joining my class? I can guarentee we'll be talking about humans.

[And how their foolishness and mortality interacts with the supposedly mythical creatures.]
