Now, just-- Captain, you really need to be practical about this.
[ He paces on one stair for a moment, like he's trying to figure out something... Which he is! After a moment of deciding, he simply sets his stack of books down on his current stair, looking determinately back up at her. ]
I understand that you don't want to feel hindered, but you're going to do serious damage to yourself if you don't allow time to heal.
[ He's looked both ways, listened, to make sure that nobody's coming. That done (are ya ready?), he's going to attempt to scoop her up.
He's serious business about this, girl. He's really just hoping it doesn't get his eyes clawed out. ]
