[He averts his eyes from the screen.]

I came by her room earlier to see her but it was locked. And, I waited for a while, but she never came.
[His gaze fixates back on the monitor. Far less stern than he might have liked, and much more pleadingly.]
If you know where she might be, please - [The feed cuts off.]
Come on! [He takes a hold of the comm, wanting nothing more than to thrash it against the wall. Instead, he calms down and leaves it on the desk. Leaning against the wall, he lets himself slide to the ground and covers his face.
He knows where she is. Midian. How long could he possibly expect her to stay away from home? Even he couldn't convince her otherwise. Or maybe, maybe if he got to her before she made the decision -
things would have been different?]
