It was unbearably muggy, so for once Mozenrath was dressed down. He wore a black thobe and his turban was removed. Perhaps it would be shocking for those who knew him to see how long his hair was. So silky-looking, with soft curls, and it hung

[624 was climbing around on the roof to get a better view of things, and eventually noticed Mozenrath... And his companion. With a quirked head, she scurries over on all fours.

And pokes Xerxes.]

[Poor Xerxes -- he wasn't expecting to be suddenly prodded. He squeaked with alarm and jerked upwards to float in the air above the offending creature. He bared his teeth and hissed 'No touchy!'

Mozenrath ignored the entire exchange.]

[Not fond of being told what to do, 624 bares her teeth right back...]

[....But then she returns to normal, curiosity setting in once again. Maybe, just maybe...]

Experiment?

'Ehhh?'

[That made the eel blink, his mouth frowning in confusion]

[624 is going to take this as a 'no'. Oh, well, that's not nessacarily a bad thing.]

Then what?

'Me Xerxes!'

[His little fin motioned to himself, growling as if the thing was supposed to know that]

[624 has no idea what a 'Xerxes' is, but she doesn't know terribly much about this planet, period. She nods, then points to herself.]

Experiment 624.

'Hmph!'

[Xerxes was apparently a snob, much like his master, and eyed the creature critically for being an offensive color, and having a bizarre name.]

[boojiboo]

[624 bared her teeth once again, growling lightly.]

[oftheblacksand]

[Xerxes growled right back and bared his sharp teeth -- and was suddenly backhanded by Mozenrath - the eel squeaks and fell to the ground roughly from the force of it.]

Silence! You're giving me a headache with your incessant noises!

[624 looked quite taken aback by this outburst. She backed away a bit, looking Mozenrath over curiously.]

[He eyed the creature with a similar expression as Xerxes just seconds before]

What do you want?

[624 paused. This human seemed particularly violent, and while that was a bit interesting to her, it was also concerning. She rose onto her hind legs and stared at him, unsure of what to say.]
