For those of you that are worrying about not having a song that fits (e.g. Finding Nemo), I'm expanding the tropes to non-musical scenes as well. Either the scene would be a great spot for a song or it fits the main idea that the trope represents. If you claimed a single character, it's fine for you to expand to the rest of the movie for the category section.
Here are some example but don't hesitate to ask. I've given both musical and non-musical examples for each trope.
1. Crowd Song: a moment where a large number of characters are all acting with one goal in mind and thinking the same thoughts since they all know the words and steps. Musical: Gaston from Beauty and the Beast. Non-musical: When the school of fish form shapes conveying a single message in Finding Nemo.
2. I Am Song: a scene in which your character establishes their personality. Very similar in some cases to the next category, the "I Want Song" which is more explicit about the want. Musical: One Jump Ahead in Aladdin. Non-musical: The sequence in Up where Carl
