round seventeen: THEMES!
welcome to round seventeen! We've got another technical category set this month. ♥
NOTES: As some of you know I'm going on vacation tomorrow (HPLAND!) and so themes are up today. I've decided people can still sign-up until the 1st but because I probably won't be able to approve your claim, just assume that it's been approved and start making icons. As long as I see you've posted your claim before the 1st and the subject matter is appropriate, it's fine.
★ general rules.
1. please join the community in order to enter the icons.
2. you must have personally made all your submissions.
3. icons must be 100x100 (PNG, JPEG or GIF).
4. submissions must have been made for the challenge specifically.
★ submission rules.
1. please post a link to all 20 icons in a new entry to the community.
2. make sure your journal entry is public and viewable.
3. please tag all your entries like this: !round 17, maker: username, movie/character/couple/scene: claim
entries due MAY. 20TH in your timezone.
10 THEMES: Interpretive: sun, face, joy, rainbow, sorrow
Technical: faceless, black & white, close-up, text-only, opposite colours

5 CATEGORY: TEXTURES! Use the same texture in five noticeably different ways
(try changing its colour, use it as a background, use different blending options, cut it, rotate it, be creative!)
5 ARTIST'S CHOICE: your choice. ★
Free free to interpret as you wish, but not so obscure that you need to write a long explanation about it.

You may change the colours and fonts on the theme table but leave the ordering as is.
