round thirteen: THEMES!
welcome to round thirteen!
I'm terribly sorry for being even later than I expected since I haven't had the time to count all the votes and post results. I'll get to those as soon as possible but in the meantime, here are the themes for the new challenge. As you know, there are 30 icons to make this time and the deadline is Jan. 20th, 2010. Happy Iconing everyone!
For those of you who have entered before, the extra 10 icons are somewhat of a gift. If you have icons you've made for disney2020 in the past, you are allowed to substitute up to 10 old icons for new ones for each round you have participated in. For example, if you successfully completed three rounds then you can use three of your old icons instead of making new ones. Of course, if you want to make new icons instead, that's fine too. I just wanted to somehow thank people for sticking with this community for a whole year! I know this sounds a little confusing so if you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask. =)
★ general rules.
1. please join the community in order to enter the icons.
2. you must have personally made all your submissions.
3. icons must be 100x100 (PNG or JPEG).
4. submissions must have been made for the challenge specifically.
★ submission rules.
1. please post a link to all 30 icons in a new entry to the community.
2. make sure your journal entry is public and viewable.
3. please tag all your entries like this: !round 13, maker: username, movie/character/couple/scene: claim
entries due JAN. 20TH in your timezone.
15 THEMES: Interpretive: magical, red, smile, snow, clouds, landscape, skin, one, asterisk, zoo
Technical: close-up, black & white, opposite colours*, negative space, out of the box

5 CATEGORY: FAVOURITE (e.g. favourite character, favourite dress, favourite quote, favourite movie, favourite scene... etc.)
10 ARTIST'S CHOICE: your choice. ★
Free free to interpret as you wish, but not so obscure that you need to write a long explanation about it.
You may change the colours and fonts on the theme table but leave the ordering as is.
