Overview on Mini Challenges

May 14, 2012 14:44

Oh dear, I almost forgot to post this. Here's an overview of mini challenges, the first of which is going to start tomorrow.

Overview:
Mini challenges are stand-alone activities meant to get your creative juices flowing. There will be one or two mini challenges per month (we are experimenting with the schedule), posted on the 1st and/or the 15th and each lasting one week. The winning entry is selected by the last challenge's winner, and the winner gets to pick the format of the next challenge. That is to say, if you win, you first decide on what the next challenge will be and then you choose the winner of that challenge. In the case where there's no winner or the winner doesn't get back to us, the mods will be the ones choosing.

Rules:
- Submissions will be screened so that people don't cheat / pick their friends.
- Unless otherwise specified, you only submit one entry.
- Challenges are open to everyone. You don't need to be working on a claim to participate.
- Icons you make for special challenges can't be used for a claim you're working on.

Obviously this is a very bare-bones overview, so if you have any questions, feel free to ask.
