Now introducing: the 50-50 challenge type

What this is:
This is a special 100-icon challenge that differs significantly from the normal one. For this challenge, you find a friend willing to do the same claim topic as you, and the two of you each make 50 icons, for a total of 100. Unlike a normal challenge, you only have 2 months to complete it. For an example,

I'm hoping to do a 50-50 over the summer. Anyone up for this? I'm thinking either Fantasia, Pinocchio, or Snow White, but I'd also be up for a general Disney claim or some kind of theme like sidekicks, villains, animals, etc.

i just signed up for (my first) full 100, so i'm not sure if technically i'm allowed to volunteer, but if you need somebody and it's okay, i'd be happy to partner up with you :)

Yay! You can do up to one 50-50 if you also have a full 100 claim going on (or two 50-50s if not) so that's allowed! Do you have any preferences on what the subject of the 50-50 should be?

Oh, and connected to this. If my icon partner doesn't finish, does that mean I can't post my icons here? Even if I do complete the 50 icons?

Yes. It can be just one new icon, but there have to be new icons from both people (unless one person has finished and so new icons for them aren't possible anymore).

Yes, unfortunately. If they've made a few icons, you can post your icons here along with whatever they have. But if they don't finish, then the claim as a whole can't be finished.

I'm looking to do a 50-50 with someone. Subjects can include (but are truly not limited to) Disney Heroines, Villains or specific movies. Just interested to get back into icon making. Anyone up for it??

I was going to do Disney Heroines as my claim for a technical claim but no one has replied to my clam. Anyways I would happy to icon Disney Heroines and Villains.

Yay! Sorry, LJ totally failed me and wouldn't let me log in or even view your message for the longest time. (Okay 2 days but if felt longer!) I saw your Disney Princesses...very nice! I'd love to do a challenge with you! Which would you rather do? Heroines or Villains? (Just to be clear, I would want to do the non-official Princesses/Heroines ie. Maid Marion, Eilonwy, Meg, you get the idea) I'm really okay with either one! :)

was thinking the same thing for Heroines. I was planing on doing Lady,Esmeralda Rapunzel ( She is not part of official Disney line) , maybe Alice from the animated or live action, Giselle , Eve, Dory, Duchess, Lilo, Ellie ( saves the story in her own way), I can name a lot! I am familiar with Maid Marion she's from Robin Hood. Is Eilonwy from the Black Cauldron? Anyways live journal is doing the same to me at night but loads slowly during the day. I hope you are alright with what I named since I have a lot more I could name. :D

Question for the - 15 themes that are the same for both makers
- 10 "matching themes" (e.g. one person gets Hot, the other gets Cold)

Do the 15 shared themes and 10 matching theme images have to be the same images. Do we have to use the image but use it differently

Nope, each maker is free to interpret them how they like, and that includes picking their own screencaps. The only part where both makers use the same screencaps is on 26-45 (for person 1) and 76-95 (for person 2).
