Peter Pan's Labyrinth: A boy who never grew up flies to Wendy Darling's window one night and informs her she is the long lost princess of a far away land. As an incentive to come, he spirits her brothers away and Wendy must navigate the maze-like Neverland and prove herself worthy, all while becoming increasingly involved with various factions of the land (The Pirate King and his crew, The Mermaids, Tiger Lily's tribe) teetering on civil war with the primary issue being what action to take, if any, on the vicious eldritch abomination that steals children and subjects their world to his whims.
The Pirate King has been trying every since he followed the thing that took his sons and watched them get fed to the Crocodile for its amusement.
The Mermaid Clan is wary that any action could just make the thing angrier than it already is and since Neverland's reality is controlled by whomever the most powerful entity is there, the consequences of failure are limitless. As awful as the current situation is, maintaining the status quo in their minds is the closest thing they have to a choice.
Tiger Lily's Tribe is neutral, and her main priority is the safety and well-being of her tribe. She recognizes that taking action is dangerous, but so is letting things continue the way they are.
Wendy knows she isn't a princess, and that the boy who never grew up is just bored and playing games. She's used to unruly boys though, and knows exactly how to deal with them. If only she could keep him in once place long enough to get John and Michael back.
