I've realised that I'm kinda getting a 'thing' for relationships between young, naïve, princesses/queens etc and their older, more experienced, advisors...as in, for example, Ser Jorah Mormont and Daenerys Targaryen (A Song of Ice and Fire), or Elizabeth I and Francis Walsingham (Elizabeth, 1998). And, with this new fetish in mind, I came here thinking...why not do it Disney style? ;)
Sooo...basic prompt summary...
A Disney heroine becomes leader of her country (or tribe, whatever goes) and said heroine's corresponding villain is appointed as her chief advisor or protector. Their relationship is multifaceted and complicated. She respects him, but often ignores his advice, much to his exasperation. He admires her strength and optimism, but is well aware of the vulnerability beneath it all. They disagree on many points, which sometimes causes extreme friction between them, but she always ends up seeking him out for comfort and reassurement. And, when she decides to take a husband, he is totally underwhelmed by her choice of suitor(s) and is openly critical of them...mainly because he himself is in love with her. No surprises there. Entirely up to you as to whether she spurns his affections or welcomes him with open legs...ahem, arms...
Preferred pairings...Frollo/Esmeralda, Jafar/Jasmine, Hades/Meg, Facilier/Tiana...but whatever! I just really want a fill for this!
