((Hopefully the formatting is better this time- I figured out how to included italics, at least.))
Slim decided that it would be best to start with something simple. While Molt’s reckless enthusiasm was admirable, he didn’t want the inexperienced grasshopper to injure himself. As the circus’ new strongman, Molt would be expected to perform both solo and group acts. With this in mind, Slim decided that practicing lifts would be a fine start. Since Slim was the lightest member of the troupe, he would make the perfect prop. At least, he certainly hoped so. He couldn’t believe that now that he finally had some creative control he was still using himself as a glorified prop, but that little irony could be reflected on later.
“Ok Molt, remember: Grab me under my legs, then slowly lift- from your knees, not your back!- until I am fully vertical.”
“Then what, Mr. Slim?” Asked Molt with a confused tilt of his head.
“Then, of course, you put me back down .” He responded. “ Very. Carefully.” He added for emphasis.
“Oh right, sir, of course!” And with that, Molt rushed towards his spindly-legged instructor, grabbed him by the arm, and attempted to lift. Unfortunately in his haste, Molt was terribly off-balance, and both insects came crashing to the ground.
“Ouch.”
"Oops! Sorry...." An uncharacteristically bashful Molt replied.

Hey there! Sorry it's been so long since you posted and there's been no reply. Honestly my email didn't alert me to this post and I don't always check the kink meme fills regularly.
That said, I'm loving this. Just Molt trying so hard and being bashful. it's adorable.
I'm certainly looking forward to more and I thank you so much for the work put into this in the first place.

I'm so happy that you're enjoying what I've written so far! It means so much that you replied, so don't feel bad that it wasn't immediate :) I definitely plan on writing more; life has just been hectic lately. Thanks again!
Slim's School for Bumbling Actors Part 3/?

((Sorry for the long delay- life sure has been hectic!))
After a short period of convalescence Slim was ready to get back to work. He was feeling slightly more hesitant than he had initially though, as he did not relish the thought of a busted antenna or injured thorax. Molt seemed to still display his characteristic exuberance and cluelessness, Slim noted somewhat bitterly.
“Ok Molt, since the lifts did not go exactly as planned, perhaps we should try something a little less… athletic. Just do exactly as I do.” Slim said, as he slowly bent down to pick up a tattered old script.
“No problemo, Mr. Slim sir!” Molt replied quickly. He snatched the script off the table, and began to flip through the pages. He was clearly trying to look busy and professional. Slim wondered when Molt would notice that he was holding the papers upside-down.
Slim thought Molt could have at least had the decency to be a bit more careful after what happened last time. But today’s lesson was just going to be about reading and interpreting a scene for one of the circus’s many comedic skits. ‘What could possibly- No, no, mustn’t jinx it!’ He thought while shaking his head slightly. Since he considered himself a traditional, classical actor, Slim was fairly superstitious even at the best of times. And this was clearly not the best of times.
