The Many Conquests of John Smith (part four)

In that instant, several things seemed to happen at once.
The drapes that had hung closed across the room were pushed roughly aside all at once by some invisible force; the room erupted in flashes of light and clouds of purple smoke; the heads and masks around the room seemed to come to life and from their mouths came a deep, unified chanting. Facilier's face was lit up with an unearthly glow which seemed to penetrate his very skin and illuminate the skeleton beneath; a huge stone mouth on the opposite wall gaped open and spewed forth bursts of green lights and the sillhouettes of creatures that John Smith instinctively knew did not walk this earth.
And John Smith, glued to his chair, screamed.
His cries tore at his throat until it ached, his arms and legs felt like dead weights, but still John screamed and struggled to get away. He felt himself moving forwards, into that gaping stone mouth, and squeezed his eyes shut, too terrified to look.
"Are you ready?" Facilier shouted over the chanting. "Are you ready for your life to be changed forever, John Smith? If you're not satisfied..." his lips curled up in a smirk, his arms outstretched and his shadow dancing in glee behind him as he recited the disclaimer he gave to all of his clients. "... Blame my friends on the other side!"
Before John Smith had time to even think, he was flung bodily from the chair. His stomach clenched, bile rising in his sore throat as he fell headfirst: down and down and down.

I'm not OP but I am so happy you got Princess and the Frog characters in already! A pity Tiana didnt make a brief appearance, but I'm looking too forward to what you have planned for John!

There's still scope for Tiana to enter the fray later on, don't worry! I have too much fun writing the PatF characters to just leave it at that. ;) I'm glad you're enjoying it so far!
I'm so excited that you decided to fill this. You've done such a wonderful job already, and it's already so interesting! I am all for the pimping out of John Smith. If you could get Mulan or Hercules in there as far as possible locations go, that would be even better. Thanks so much for filling!
