AU ending - Flynn doesn't have the strength to cut Rapunzel's hair, so she heals him and Gothel drags her away.
Flynn keeps searching for years, his quest taking him further and further from the kingdom of Corona until one day, as if by magic, he stumbles upon Rapunzel! Turns out, Mother Gothel went out one day and never came home. Without Gothel's constant vigilance, Rapunzel was able to free herself and escape.
They revel in their reunion and begin the long trip back to Rapunzel's kingdom, something that becomes a little more complicated when Rapunzel begins to feel tired and ill.
A trip to a local doctor reveals all that celebratory reunion sex has led to her falling pregnant.
The very next day, Flynn wakes up to find Rapunzel missing.
See, Rapunzel had assumed Gothel had been gravely injured or killed. But Gothel, discovering Flynn was closing in on her location, purposely allowed Rapunzel to escape. Turns out the flower's power doesn't stop Rapunzel from aging and Gothel wants Rapunzel to have a child to inherit the power, a child who Gothel can manipulate in the same way she manipulated the young Rapunzel. Now Rapunzel is with child, Gothel has kidnapped her once again.
But Flynn lost Rapunzel once and he won't let it happen again, to her or their unborn child...
