Mowgli's pov Kaa had been absolutely right about everything of course, and had taught something very important today. Mowgli's own body was only there for Kaa to use as he saw fit, it was his whole reason for living. He wondered why it had taken him so long to come to that conclusion, or why he had ever bothered doing anything else. He was Kaa's now, and that was the way it should be.
Kaa's pov Kaa soothed the boy, urging him to relax into the nest of coils he now formed. The boy was panting as if he had been running for his life, but, Kaa reasoned smugly, he would not be running away again. Pearly drops of white still clung to his body. He sampled a bit with his tongue. Not bad. The salt of desperation was a welcome addition to any meal, and this was already shaping up to be quite a feast. Kaa took a second to admire the boy's prone body, his lashes stuck together by tears of exertion, the smile of utter peace that had never left his face, the rise and fall of breath in his chest. It was almost a shame to eat him, but Kaa had worked up quite the appetite, and the boy was right there. Just as he was unhinging hi jaw, Kaa felt a little tug at one of his lower coils and scowled in irritation. “oooh, now what...” ~~~~ that's all, folks!
