First he pulled her arms up with ropes of hot magic, holding her wrists together. Then he started with his fingers, then he kneaded, and then started with his tongue. He bit her where her neck met her shoulders, and he stroked her, somewhere different every time, with a lick of magic. When humiliated and helpless she started to gasp, he told her "beg," and she said "please," and he made her lose herself.

It was always disappointing afterwards, having to actually look at her face and know it wasn't Princess Jasmine. The girl he had coveted secretly and almost had and then lost while he had been imprisoned in a lamp.

He wished he could do this to the princess and when it was too much to bear he called Verbena, who said she was pretty much on the same page he was. She pretended to be Jasmine and they both got a kick out of it, until they had to look at each other.

Verbena was starved till she agreed to do anything, Verbena stood in front of mirrors, Verbena met his staff, Verbena begged for mercy sometimes and other times had secretly lusted for him. Jasmine was humiliated over and over and in every way they could think of, except Jasmine was deserts away and running a kingdom and organizing tax reform and an overhaul of marriage laws and getting a divorce court in place and happily married to someone she adored.

One time he choked Verbena and she thought he was trying to just kill her, and then the truth was worse than she had imagined, but she would end up bucking her hips for him. Verbena thought that one was pretty fun but said she wouldn't ever do it again because if he kept thinking of her as Jasmine during the game he might forget and actually done kill her.

It was when he left the lamp and had a moment with the real Jasmine, chained in a dungeon with her lover at the execution block and all her happiness about to be taken away forever, at his mercy and prime for any humiliation he could inflict, and he had even more power than he had had while he was in the neverworld of the lamp, that he realized her eyes were a little off, and her hair didn't curl right.

Verbena didn't know who Jasmine was, and she definitely didn't actually have anything against her, and was so totally not into wanting Jafar to actually do any of those things to her instead of to her character, but she was definitely getting off on something.

"None of your business," she said. "And this is just about Jasmine, remember? You and me and frustration and Jasmine."

She only sounded ninety-nine percent sure, but maybe that was Jafar projecting.
