So, I did it. I don't know about it, though, something's just not right about it :/ Well, I'll just leave this here and hope you like it.

Oliver slowly went down the stairs, to go back to the place he first called home. It surely was nothing like 5th Avenue, but it was still a place he could call home. He silently explored the messy room where all the dogs and Fagin where fast asleep. The former kitten looked briefly at all his friends. They looked the same to him, but he knew he was substantially changed. He was now a grown tomcat, quite big for a cat and really proud of what he'd become. Oliver ignored the desire to wake up everybody and approached Dodger's bed, on which he jumped without a sound but a soft thump on the pillow. The mutt let a low growl in his sleep, probably dreaming somebody was attacking him. The cat stared at him for some time, then he rubbed himself against the dog's shoulder, purring . Dodger opened his eyes, but he had to blink lots before he could see anything in the darkness. Not that he needed to see, anyway, when he heard the cat purring by his side. "Kid?" He whispered, his voice still hoarse. "Who else?" Answered the cat, with the smile in his voice, pushing his head against Dodger's neck. The dog chuckled. "As if you were the only cat I know…" "I am… and I'm the only one that could crawl all the way to your bed just to stay with you for a moment, anyway." "Woah, did I shrink or is did you grow a lot bigger?" Oliver giggled. "I grew, I grew a lot. Jenny says I'm a giant." Said proudly the former kitten, curling up under his head. Dodgers tried to reply, but ended up yawning loudly instead. The cat touched his nose to the dog's bandanna and breathed in deeply. It smellt just like… love, at its broadest meaning. Or maybe, also in its most romantic form. He did not know, really, he was still too young and far too unexperienced that way. "Let's sleep now, Kitty, shall we?" But it was good anyway. Just as long as they could stay together for just one moment. And Dodger, though he did not say much about that, felt just the same.
Well, I'll just leave this here and hope you like it.

"As if you were the only cat I know…"
