After helping her in the store the girl joined her outside as well, looking at her as they walked. Esmeralda was not uncomfortable, after all, that is what she got paid for, to be pleasing to look at. They had always told her Soft to the eye, light to the touch, speak little and listen much. And though her cheeky nature cringed at the obedience it required she knew all too well she had little choice in the matter. Allowing her dominant nature to release in tiny bursts.
When she turned to meet the girl her eyes she looked startled and quickly turned to look at her sandals. Noticing something she perked up. "Why do you walk barefoot?" Esmeralda looked down at her mud stained feet and shrugged. "I like feeling the ground underneath my feet." The girl left it at that and they walked for a few more moments before Esmeralda decided to break it again. "Where did you learn to speak french?" The girl smiled as she kept her eyes to the ground. "We had a few more guests from the west when my father was still part of the army and they taught me. My father saw little use in it then but now I'm called upon whenever we have foreign guests." Esmeralda nodded, unable to contain a smile. The girl reminded her of herself. Finding the boundaries in a strict regime.
"So what are you here for?" She blinked as she gave the girl a look. "What do you mean?" The girl played with her hair. "Well you're obviously not part of the army and you don't seem to be selling anything." "What's your name." The girl gave her another look. "My... M-Mulan, Fa Mulan." Esmeralda smiled. "Well Fa Mulan I would like to invite you to come see us perform tomorrow afternoon." Mulan looked a bit doubtful. "There will be a market and magic tricks and dancing and singing. Some of the best entertainment from Paris." She took Mulan her hand which made the girl blush brightly. "And I would like you to come as my personal guest."
Mulan took a second to just look at the strange tan woman holding her hand before cracking a small smile. "Well... how can I refuge such a generous offer?" Esmeralda grinned as she thought to herself 'You can't.'

The next day was warmer than the day before had been and Mulan fanned herself as she held her parasol to shade herself. Her grandmother was on her tail stopping at several small shops around the market too look at the interesting necklaces and incense stands to look for good luck charms. Her father had insisted she be accompanied at all times, lest she were to be branded as lewd. Mulan cared little and though she would hate to show disrespect to her father in any way shape or form she found her eyes wandering the crowd in search for the tan girl she had met the day before. Cursing her kimono as she tried to maneuver through the crowd without drawing any attention to herself.
Finding herself at the base of a stage where a brightly dressed man was standing shouting in chinese. "Dear Ladies and gentleman, may I welcome you to the original french Carnival!" And with that he threw something on the ground and red smoke surrounding him only to have a wave of red appear out of nowhere. The red figure moved from side to side until the smoke began to clear.
Mulan her mouth fell agape as she watched the woman she met the day before wearing loose fitting red skirts that flew around her form like a flame itself. Her bronze skin sparkling in the afternoon sun as her curly black hair fell perfectly with her jewelry. Her hips falling in sync with the music she began swirling over the stage like the stories of great dragons. As if she were a flame that set the entire stage alight, her long legs helping her from one side of the stage to the other in two graceful strides. And she danced and danced till the crowd cheered and threw their money at her feet.
Mulan felt uncomfortable as she watched the woman dance, her eyes wandering constantly, unsure where to look but unable to tear her eyes away at the same time. For long the dance was finished and the brightly coloured man appeared again, speaking loudly. But for some reason she couldn't hear him as the tan woman beckoned her to follow. Which she did.
Upon entering the make-shift tents she came face to face with the woman as she began removing the ridiculous amount of jewelry she wore. "So? What did you think?" Mulan tried to blink out of her daze as she folded her parasol. "I-It was lovely." She looked away when she caught the woman her eyes through the mirror she was looking in. Esmeralda smiled. "Thank you. Well, the men seemed to enjoy it anyway." Mulan nodded as she looked outside where the men had continued calling at someone else who had started preforming. "Not that men are hard to please."
Mulan nearly jumped out of her skin. The voice sounding from right beside her ear. She covered it as if it had been burnt, turning to look at the woman again. "I-" Esmeralda raised a brow at the smaller girl. "Are you alright." Mulan turned red. "You're so-" a silence and Esmeralda smiled a small sad smile. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean any disrespect." But as she said it she grabbed Mulan her hand and pulled her close.

Mulan would have objected if not for the blood red lips that planted themselves on her own. A tanned arm encircling her waist and pulled her close. The first moment she was to shocked to move, the second she went to push her away but her heart just wasn't in it. Esmeralda her thick perfume making her feel lightheaded. Or was that her touch? Soon she found her hands just resting on her shoulders as their lips clashed together, only seperating when neither had any breath left in them.
Mulan looked at Esmeralda with a look somewhere in between lust and fear. "I- don't understand." Esmeralda smiled her red lips as she held the smaller to her body. "You are beautiful and I wanted to kiss you. What's not to get?" Mulan bit her lip as she looked at what little space remained between them.

"Can we do it again?"
