Robin Hood blushed FIERCELY under his ginger-red and cream fur as he (semi) recovered from his *start* caused by the blonde 'Princess's' gently-laughing reply to his thought-not-to-have-been-heard disappointed sigh at her sad-but-sweet and beautiful song being finished and cleared his throat before responding with a slight stutter, "Y- Yes; yes, I- I did, m-milady! V- *VERY* MUCH so-!"
Aurora giggled lightly again at how (adorably) bumbling the usually suave and confident British-accented fox now appeared to be- more Victor Van Dort from 'Corpse Bride' than 'Pirates of the Caribbean's' Captain Jack Sparrow. Then she smiled kindly and said in the same tone of voice while venturing over to where Robin Hood was 'hiding', "Well, be *NOT disappointed*, my friend, for I will be singing again at the House of Mouse tonight. -WHAT *EXACTLY* I will be singing, however, ...is *a SURPRISE*!" she added with a friendly-teasing wink and extra sparkle of her violet eyes as her smiling rose-petal lips quirked themselves upward into a playful *grin*.
*NONE of this* (Aurora's behavior) was helping to calm down Robin Hood's heartbeat or unstick his throat ANY; but strangely enough, he *DIDN'T* *at ALL* *mind*. He finally mustered enough 'manliness' about himself to reply with a bright grin, "*LOOKING FORWARD to it*, my lady!"
Seeing how further flustered the handsome anthropomorphic vulpine had become given her playfully teasing actions, Aurora toned herself down and would-be casually inquired softly while leaning against a tree trunk, "...Do you sometimes feel like a third wheel when it comes to good friends in a relationship with one another, Robin Hood?"
"I say again (but with *less* ENTHUSIASM *THIS time*): *VERY* MUCH so, 'Princess' Aurora," said Robin Hood just as softly, he too leaning his back against a tree trunk (the same wide one as Aurora was using), ginger-furred hand-paws not-so-lightly fisted in his green tunic pockets where Aurora's compactly-slender fair-skinned arms covered with dove-grey cotton cloth were gently crossed over her willowy chest clad in the same dove-grey cloth AND *DARKER grey* near-to-*black* 'cloth', her delicate graceful hands lightly placed just at her beautifully gracile elbows. "-I presume, since you have brought this kind of question up...?"
"That *I* MYSELF have been feeling such as of late?" Aurora finished before sighing deeply and nodding as she near-murmured, "...*YES, Robin Hood*. It is so. Ever since it was discovered between 'Prince' Phillip and I that we were/are *FAR* BETTER off as *friends* *and NOTHING MORE*, and he and 'Prince' Kit Charming then became a couple; not to mention *Kit's* 'True Love' Cinderella then entering into a romantic relationship with NOT *ONLY* *Belle Cartier*, but *QUASIMODO, ~too~*...!"
"*THAT one* was QUITE a *shock*," Robin Hood remembered. "I believe that Johnny ACTUALLY *fainted*...!" Then he defeated at the memory of his "beary" best friend TOO *being in a romantic relationship* whilst *HE HIMSELF* was STILL *single* having *HIS* 'canon' relationship being *broken up*, which *was NOT* *MISSED* by 'Princess' Aurora's ACTUALLY-*quick* eye. She nodded sympathetically with a soft expression on her lovely features that were much more aesthetically refined than the mostly softly heart-shaped faces of many of the other 'Disney Princesses'.
"I see. -Whom did 'Maid' Marian fall for when yours and hers' romantic spark snuff itself out? You DON'T *at ALL* *HAVE TO answer* if you wish *NOT* to...!" she then hurriedly added, not wanting to further offend or upset Robin Hood.
But he was not, as she had worded her question in the right way. A little wistfully-fond ghost of a smile flickered onto his lips as he replied in the same tone of voice, "Otto the canine 'blacksmith'. He's (somewhat) MUCH *older* *THAN she*, certainly, but as 'Princess' Anna Snowden says, 'It's *TRUE* LOVE*!!'; -is it not?"
Now Aurora softly smiled in a wistfully-fond way herself, murmuring with a slight agreeing nod, "JUST *so*...!"

That very day in the forest, sparks began to fly, and the spark turned into the beginnings of a strongly-burning flame on the part of Robin Hood ('Princess' Aurora had carried a torch for said smart, funny, and kind-hearted handsome British anthropomorphic fox for quite some time already where SHE was concerned) when 'Briar Rose' later that night on the House of Mouse's stage sang a medley of "Defying Gravity" and "Let It Go". ...But because around her said fox turned SHY and *awkward*, budding True Love *did NOT* *REALLY* *go into FULL FLOWER* until Alice Liddell, now *BEYOND frustrated* at Pinocchio Caspari's 'coy' with her (STEADFASTLY *ignoring* the fact that said "Little Wooden-Head" was *GAY* and *ALREADY in a romantic relationship* with BOY *Arthur AKA 'Wart' Pendragon*), attempted to make a move on Robin Hood so as to cause her 'little beau' to become JEALOUS...
-
It had GALLED Alice to *NO end* when Pinocchio was cast as *her YOUNGER BROTHER* *Michael Darling* in 'Robin Pan', and to have to pretend to have a crush on/be in love with *'PETER'*,; but NOW, she would use such to her *advantage*! After all, WHAT *male* *WOULDN'T be in love* with *HER*?? She was blonde, petite, and QUITE *pretty/beautiful*; and her British accent and 'signature' outfit was *MOST* *charming*, if she did say so herself-!
So the VERY *next* annual House of Mouse Saturday night, after the second Mouseworks cartoon, Alice sidled on over to Robin Hood and friends' table, making sure that she/they were in *FULL view* where Pinocchio was. Then she walked right up to the male vulpine main protagonist himself, hooding (*ha*-!!) her sapphire orbs for eyes and lightly batting her lashes as she said in a sweetly seductive tone while pouting her lips, "You know, ...I've *ALWAYS* LOVED *a MAN* with an *accent*. It's CUTE and everything on *boys*, but on *MEN*; *~ooh~, LOVELY*...!"
Robin Hood COULDN'T *at ALL* *help* it. He GAGGED at what the child-seeming 'classic English Rose' teenager was attempting to do- and in *FULL*,*plain* view of the boy she was *OBSESSED with*, too! Even as his stomach churned unpleasantly as a result of Alice beginning to trail a finger down his lithely-muscled arm while her other hand *reached DOWN ~THERE~*, he roughly pushed himself back away from her and stood up. Then he said as sternly as possible, "*STOP it* RIGHT *now*, Alice Pleasance Liddell!! *NEITHER* PINOCCHIO *or ~I~* are *at ALL* interested in you in *THAT sense*, but SOMEONE ~ELSE~: *he* *MALE*, and MYSELF *FE-male*, but OLDER, *kinder*-."
"And *someone else* *FE-male* whom did not *DELIBERATELY* FALSELY seduce him, but did so *by ACCIDENT*, and who STOPPED *short* upon seeing that such actions were beginning to make him *UN-comfortable*," a familiar 'nightingale' voice finished up just as firmly as Robin Hood, sounding as though she had her hands planted on her hips as her eyes flashed angrily from her face framed by voluminous hair mostly held back with a headband.
SURE *enough*, as both Robin Hood and Alice Liddell turned their heads, 'Princess' Aurora Costa's sternly angry features and form embodied her tone while she scolded the latter.
"WHEN *EXACTLY* *did* you *NOT do that*??!" Alice Liddell demanded to know with narrowed eyes and hands placed upon her own hips.
-
But both 'Princess' and 'outlaw' fox ignored her, only having eyes for each other- SO *MUCH* so that it took *Disney Villain Jafar using his magic staff* for them to *FINALLY* KISS! And as they did so, Pinocchio Caspari happily/relievedly said '*CONGRATULATIONS*!! -*And THANK YOU*...!' to "FoxRose" with his shining sky-blue and thick-lashed orbs for eyes. ...NOT that said now-couple *saw* how thankful/relieved the black-haired 'ex-puppet' boy with an odd-yet-adorable elongated button nose and rosy cheeks was. It WASN'T out of *not-caring* in *the LEAST*; they were just currently too busy spooning to pay heed to anything else...!
But 'Pinoke' didn't mind. To him, Mr. Robin Hood's and Miss Aurora's True Love's Kiss exchanged between one another *PLENTY said*, 'You're *MORE* THAN *welcome*!!'
