Re: Sleeping Beauty, Aurora/Phillip AU part 4/4 anonymous March 24 2016, 14:20:08 UTC
She screams, screams as cold iron cuts through her faerie nature like butter through flesh, screams as faerie power stops flow of magic she inherited by birth, human magic waning at powers of void, screams as ice touches her, as holiness in it judges and pities her at same time, as power that was granted to it with prayer destroys all Man in Black gave her. Her body perishes from age and wounds, and her soul is sucked into Hell to be imprisoned along with demons she danced with as her mind still fails to comprehend what happened, and finally, she is no more.

And prince travels. Through burning ice, over dry sea and light shadows. With every step he feels as if he passed 7 miles, and after some time ( he can no longer count days and nights, for so changed is this land) he comes to castle and sees thorns around it turn to flowers. Samson dies, broken by age and effort, and with tear in eyes he continues up to castle, hoping he won't fall and break his spine ( it would fit his tale, though).
He comes to end, and slowly, kisses her, hoping he will be able to explain this, without context, rather horrifying situation
She flutters her eyelashes and smiles. '' It took you long enough my prince.''
''Aurora, Rose, i wish to tell you, though it will pain me, that I understand if you choose young, strong man over decrepit old...'''She leans in and kisses him, hard and fierce, and he feels as if he is young as her.
'' Silly Phillip. You are only few years older than me, remember?''

It is strange when they come down. her parents are happy but also horrified. His father just takes look into his eyes and breaks into tears of rage and sadness, apologizing without end. It takes him time to accept, to understand that his son is now so old, but in end, they live happily ever after.
