Work is play! Brilliant day!
It's unreal how things have turned around for me at work in the last year. I'm supposed to write up a thing for next week about how the last year has changed. We'll discuss in team meetings.
Just since Luca left a dark cloud has lifted. Nadine and I have been goofing off a lot lately and I finally just today told her my whole story about coming here. I laughed so hard today my sides hurt and I can't remember how long it's been since that's happened. Seemed to happen all the time in my past.
They wanted to send me home early today but I didn't want to, for personal reasons. I let her send home three others instead. There were only 24 kids in the whole kita! Plus, the kids listen to me now and I know what the hell I'm doing! We also played with balls and ran around outside and it was so fun.
I also don't hate late shift anymore! I think it's going to become my favorite. When the early shift takes the kids outside, the late shift gets a much longer break! Like an hour! I think i'ts going to get to the point where I am going to be very sad and feel very guilty when it comes time to leave.
