wow...rita's supposed to be a bitch. it's katrina's "big sister" and it's coming straight for us. we're not evacuating, we were going to go to dallas but we decided not to because we didn't want to sit in one big freaking parking lot lol. so i completely hurricane-proofed my room lol basically i put my important possessions in plastic bags and boxes and put them in my closet. and i took everything off my desk and put it under my desk, just in case something happened, i didn't want it to fall off. in conclusion: i'm so ready for rita. bring that bitch on. everyone, be careful and safe, i want to see you next week :)

...i am so not looking forward to not having electricity though. doing powernotes by candle light like mrs. lawrence suggested? i don't think so.
