weekend antics
So I had a pretty eventful weekend. I like eventful weekends, but sometimes its really exhausting.
Friday - Vampire's Ball with Tina and Gabby. It was a lot better than I was expecting. Everyone was really into it and the music was awesome. Reminded me of a night at Dragon*Con... *le sigh* I miss con.
Saturday - Woke up around noon and grabbed food with Adam, and then went to thrift store. We were specifically looking for redneck gear for Bonnie's Redneck Potluck. Man, we struck gold. See pictures below...
Went to the actual potluck later that night and had a blast, despite Bonnie's douchebag friend and his slut girlfriend. I won second place for costume thanks to my super tacky halloween sweatshirt, the applause of my dear friends, and a lucky coin toss preformed by my best friend.
Sunday - Went to my parent's house with Brad. Yeah, it was his first time meeting them. I don't know, I only take people that I'm super serious with to meet my family, but they really wanted to meet him before we went across the country together. Everything seemed to go well. Meh.
After visiting the rents, I went straight to thriller practice (didn't really need it after preforming at Dragon Con, but whatever) gearing up for the event on Saturday.
After thriller practice, went to James' (Brad's boss) barbecue. I had the best fucking chicken there. Holy shit, that crap was good. James is an executive chef for a 4 star restaurant, so I guess good eating is to be expected!
Went to Chalmers' keg party afterward. He just wanted to have a keg and play beer pong, so we headed over to Georgia State (yeah, college party... of course) where I had some pretty good laughs surprisingly, and hunch punch with no fruit.
Needless to say, I was pretty tired after such a long day and ended up driving home after about an hour and a half. I passed out as soon as I got home.
This weekend (aside from the thriller event), I'm taking it pretty easy gearing up for my trip to Vegas NEXT FUCKING WEEKEND! HELL YES!
