So I’m seriously considering putting extensions back my hair in this weekend.
I’ve increased my workouts from 3-4 times a week with 30-40 mins of cardio to 4-5 times a week with 40-50 mins of cardio plus 60 minute long
body pump classes twice a week (only do 20 mins of cardio these days) at the gym. This increase in my workouts is really starting to take a toll on my hair. The only time it looks halfway decent and healthy is after I wash it.
For those of you that don’t know, (most) black folk don’t wash their hair as often as white folk. I wash my hair once a week because the process that it takes to get it from looking like a woolly mass on my head, to looking like actual hair is lengthy and damaging. Plus it dries out every time I wash it. I wish I can wash and go like many of you, but I cannot.
So, extensions kind of help to take some of the stress off of my hair as I’m doing stuff to the fake hair and not mine, AND I can wash and go, which is awesome. I hate to have to do this because I really like my natural hair, but I just don’t know what else to do.

And so on…haha. Meh. I’m still trying to figure out what I’m going to do...stupid hair. If i didn't think I'd look like a giant mild dud, I'd shave it all off!
