So I've affectively wasted over $40 today. The Window kit I ordered for my pc was a piece of shit. The Rubber molding that is supposed to hold the window in doesn't fit for shit. The twenty dollar kit is pure crap. In addition to that, my sixty dollar dremel tool broke while cutting the hole in my side panel, forcing me to buy a twenty dollar cordless one from wal-mart, also a piece of shit. So now I've got a huge gaping hole in the side of my computer, which means I'll probably have to replace the side panel, god knows what that's gonna cost me. Or I could just get a new case... There's another $120+.
Talk about a lousy day.
Just for the hell of it though, I'm going to try and hot glue the window into the side panel from the inside, then spray paint a border around it to look like the molding was supposed to and see how it turns out... Maybe I can turn this into a professional looking window on my own... who knows...
