I've been teasing Adam that his church doesn't know their church calendar.
Last week on Palm Sunday, we sang an Easter cantata.
This week a lot of people seemed to think it was Christmas.

At the children's sermon, the lady was quizzing the kids on what was special about today. She was asking questions like "Are we celebrating the Eater bunny?" A few kids nodded, a few didn't respond. "Are we celebrating the birth of Jesus?" All the kids collectively nod.

She got them straightened out in the end, but she should've been focusing on the pastor. He gave a sermon about how Jesus came on Christmas to bring peace, and included a story about WWI when the soldiers on the two sides declared a truce for Christmas. At the third service he even slipped up during prayers, saying how thankful we were for everyone who helped with the sunrise Christmas breakfast. He corrected himself, but he'd already confirmed my doubts by that time.
