Today, for me is 'this is it!" day.
Today is the day our college will inform us of the results of the Candidacy/Comprehensive exam we grad studes have to take after we finish our coursework and before we are allowed to proceed to thesis writing.
I sorta fell off the side of the earth since January when I had to finish all my courses and then after the sem, start the painstaking review for the said dreaded exam. I miss my friends. I'm kinda feeling like a floater lately - no work, no home girls and no moolah really makes a girl crazy . I also have to shake this feeling that everybody's zooming off to their own gigs while im stuck in the moment (cue: U2 - hahaha).
Anyhoo, kung ano't-anuman, I just want to say thank you to all the peeps who've been nothing but understanding and encouraging. And if by God's will I pass, the next step will be to resurrect my career that's been gathering moss for five months now.
Getting back on the groove sure won't be easy, but dammit, even that is preferable than waiting anxiously for a decision totally arbitrary and completely off your hands. I knew I answered with all that I can during the exam, given the time constraint and my typing speed - but will the panel's score average more than the 70% passing? Will all 7 of us grad studes pass, or will they (as was rumored to be the practice) fail one or two, so that will serve as a peg that we have to take compre seriously? --- today is the day to find it out.
wish me luck.
