Yogyakarta, Java - Republic of Indonesia Day Two (Ramayana Ballet)
To be honest I didn't enjoy myself. For one, it had been an extremely LONG day. I started at 330am for the Borobudur sunrise tour, and had seen most things most other tourists did in two days. Bleh.
The ballet did have some traditional Javanese elements, but it had a lot of bad modern elements (choreography, lighting etc) and most of the dancers were really just going through the motions.
Perhaps a few of the minor cast were the best performers - you could really see the difference.
