Went to the Christian Lacroix exhibition at the National Museum this afternoon... I'm not really a fan of fashion - but I do love opera...and of course...Lacroix is Edina's holy grail! Well worth the $8..so go go go!

Carmen

A highlight of the exhibition - there's a really lovely dressing table for you to design clothes for Tim and Emma, for their night out at the opera. I had the honour of doing Tim. He's gonna hate me forever since I have no fashion design talent whatsoever.. The fashion world needs to stay well clear of me! My partner in crime did a much better job.

Tim is wearing a blue shirt with threaded cufflinks. Errm..the material is sort of "weavy" - you know like those bird's nests? So a bit see through. A white vest with red and yellow crucifixes adornes the front (I thought it was a good Lacroix reference but nobody got it! LOL). If you can see...there's actually embrodied white flowers on his vest.

Pants..skinny/tight fitting flat front light purple pants with floral print. PIC say look like chinatown aunty pants! ARGH! And some funky chiffon/buffon material ..err layered inside and peeking out the bottom.

I love this!

From another exhibition...it was free...some really weird modern art. I loved the video of the guy dancing in the balloon...its so Summer Heights High!
