Sorry, yet another depressing entry rather than anything meaty.
The guy with liver failure is worse. His lungs are now infected, so even if they do manage to find the money to pay for the transplant, it is very unlikely to go ahead.
We're either waiting for a miracle or a death.
V would like to fly down to Shenzhen to see him, but as he's been in a coma since Thursday1, and his family are with him, I think we'd just get in the way. A group of his classmates and close friends did go down on Saturday, but we didn't because I thought the family would need the money more than they'd need our presence.
Whatever happens, they probably don't need our presence as they don't know us. But, for us ... maybe we should go? It's probably going to be too late anyway.
