This story is really annoying the heck out of me.
For 2 weeks, a cat has been inside a wall of a NYC deli. All attempts to coax the cat out have been futile, and today some kittens were brought in as bait to get the cat to come out. Nope, the cat is just staying inside the wall. There are huge crowds of people there and all kinds of city resources have been used on this cat's attempted rescue. I guess the NYC Fire Dept. and the NYC Police Dept. don't have any more pressing issues to deal with except a kitty rescue.
Call me coldhearted but I say that after 2 weeks, enough taxpayer dollars have been spent on this goddamned cat. How about utilizing all those resources for umm, you know, people?
