Well another summer project is in the books. Our basement now contains only those things which have previously demonstrated value or are of historic significance in our family. This project was slow going. At every turn there was another box of pictures or an artifact to look at.
After all this exposure to pictures from my past, I realize how comfortable I have become. There are elements of the past for which I am nostalgic, but I definitely would rather be right here, right now.
Actually Michelle and I had dinner down at The Spar and after a few Guinness I really want to be over in bed at this precise moment!
