The worst thing in the world, is when particularly well-executed blade work eventually fades. Scars that I've had for years are no longer visible, and I feel like I've lost old friends.

My mom was very supportive of all my various scars and burns. Of course, she was okay with them being self-injuries, but may object if they were caused during sex.. :)
