Wednesday: Basic Instructions
I keep next to my bed a copy of 5th edition HTML that was gifted to me by
lolotehe. I can't tell you if it works because my damn reading light (the kind that clamps onto the book) burned out.
Well, it didn't burn out - it flickers and goes out juuuussst enough to cause the boomer parent ghost in my head to bitch that "it ain't broke".
The Covid prevents me from going to Barnes & Noble (where I got it) or Bed, Bath and beyond to get a replacement. With the Sturgis rally causing an increase in outbreaks, I've placed a moratorium on going out again. We WERE starting to go out to places that were mostly empty and careful about the rules but Sturgis has changed that. Not to mention the last place I went to, it quickly got crowded and the waitress wore a lace mask. Also: the TouchTunes Jukebox blatantly stole money by not playing my selections. It's not a matter of "maybe they don't allow that song there" - the site sets up the selection ahead of time. If it's not allowed, then it's not reachable. Simple as that. Kevin actually got testy with the waitstaff so I herded everyone out and bid a fair "au revoir!" to Danny's Pub.
