hoooorray!!!!!
so. all my hardware decided to crap out on me this weekend. my mouse thought it was drunk for the last 3 days and my keyboard up and died on me last night. but, today i went to fry's and got a bright shiny new mouse and a tiny new silver keyboard. they're adoooorable! (squee!!) so, if my typing sucks ass for awhile, i'm getting used to a bitty li'l non-ergonomic keyboard (all of davyd's computer equipment is gone for good...damn, that was an old keyboard...)

i just ate itty baby flans that jody gave me on friday (thankies, jodylove!). mmm...babyflan...
so, this weekend...had a blast at protocol, thanks to all of you that made it such a lovely night. saturday. i don't remember saturday. but i think i may've shopped. oh! yeah! pier one and whole foods and introducing mom to fondue. everyone needs to eat fondue. all the time. especially me. sunday - the everlasting bikeride. it was good. painful. but good and filled with pizza and beer and then followed by more drinks at grapevine. and i had to call into work because the two parts of my body i use for work, my big fat ass and my tiny little hands (don't get any ideas - i sit on my ass for a living, and open tiny plastic bags with my hands...and fondle jewelry) were seriously sore from ten miles on my freaking bike. i was not built for exercise. i just wasn't.
in conclusion, yay! for technology and shiny silver and black things...and baby flan...and chocolate cake shots with sugared lemon wedges! yay! for krys, without whom i cannot smoke. yay! for the new plum blossom highball glasses i got at world market!
