Happy 4th everyone... I feel like livejournal has become a virtual ghost town. Everyone's scampered off to myspace or facebook. I really want to join facebook, but I need an invite or I need GOUCHER to send me my college email. A little slow on the uptake there, gophers...

Ah, so much has been going on. First and foremost, I want to go dorm shopping real bad. Bed, Bath and Beyond is calling my name, man. But mother keeps on putting it off. In June she said we'd shop in July. Now that July has rolled around, she's saying that we'll shop in August. COME ON WOMAN, ¡DEBO DECORAR AHORA! ¡USTED ME MANEJA LOCO CON SU DILACION INSENSATA!

I've been hanging out with a lot of people lately, sam & julie, phalen & conklin, jessica & katie. Liz occasionally. It's like we're all trying to make use of this last summer. It's electrically charged, right before we all disperse and accustom ourselves to our awesome lives as college students. Holla for that!
Speaking of college, I still haven't heard back from SLC about my wait list status. I mean, I have a snowball's chance in hell of getting in, since they didn't take ANY students off the list last year. But uh, even if I did get in, I'd have to turn it down. I'm just curious. Well, I'm thinking real big for grad school, so I'm going to work my ass off in undergrad and maintain a high GPA. Maybe NYU or BROWN, haha? I don't know yet. I just want to write.
