Made with unbleached flour...

Last night was opening night, and I think it went quite well. Based upon what I could see from the pit and amount of the applause, the house seemed pretty full. It was nice to see such a big turn-out for the first show, and from what I've heard today, the paper gave us a good review. I hope this is a sign that we'll have a good turn-out for ther rest of the shows.

To be honest, I really wasn't sure about this gig at first, but my opinion has drastically changed. When Ronnie and Bobby asked me to play, I was a bit apprehensive, but I'm very glad I decided to do it. Everyone in the orchestra is so nice, and I've really felt welcome and at home playing with them and being part of the show. The cast and crew are very supportive as well. It's a very welcome change to be in a positive musicial atmosphere. There is absolutely no snobbery of any kind. Everyone in the show knows and believes that all involved (actors, dancers, singers, orchestra, crew, set and costume desingers, etc.) are of equal importance. The show could not be possible without everyone involved, and it's really cool that everyone has that attitude.

On a completely different note, congratulations to Nicole Young who graduated from Marshall University this morning with her degree in journalism!

That's all for now. I've got some laundry to do.
