Um.
Lots o rejections lately. Most have been good ones. Encouraging ones, send us something else soon, etc.
However, please editors stop being cheeky with rejections sometimes it makes the rejection sting more and cause further butthurt.
Meh.
So close...but yeah no.
Infuriating.
I had my requisite moments of OH SHIT I SUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK and everyone thinks my writing SUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK what the FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK do I think I'm doing.
Then I ate some very fine expensive ass chocolate (Belgian dark chocolate with crushed cocoa nibs and infused with chili) and felt fine.
Fine but infuriated.
Also 2 stories I think are going into retirement for rewrites or scrapping. One of them I may need to find a pagan-y venue for because Oshun isn't widely known and if you don't know who Oshun is the story is stupid.
So yeah.
In other news no I didn't finish nanowrimo. I will finish that as an actual novel because I am very into it.
I'm working on a story that is my flavor of a lady fiction. Mixing up body image, coming of age, boobs, and learning how to be the woman one wants to be not the one others want you to be.
No super happy ending. There is no dude in this. Inspired by a convo with Sarah about her epic (and on my part envious) wifery skills.
Also I would like to see the word wifery used as a verb because being a wife I imagine is fucking hard.
Back to writing.
