Gov't Mule doing John the Revelator. This is one of my favorite songs so when versions are bad I take that shit personally. This version rocks my fucking balls. Also, when I'm tired as I am now and I sing along I sound like a lady version of him. Also listening to big man sing, yeah you know he's a beast in the sack. Just sayin.
D'Angelo doing Ain't no Sunshine. Another song I fucking love and he turned this into hot fucking sex. Also, yeah he's fucking hot.
Elvis Costello covering Psycho. Not the Talking Heads version. Not the best cover of it but I cannot recall the one I want to show you guys. Still excellent.
Hole covering Gold Dust Woman. I'm a HUGE Stevie Nicks fan and I wanted to hate this song but I actually like this version better. Courtney's grimy vocals make me happeh.
Mark Lanegan covering Bob Dylan's Man in the Long Black Coat. It is beautiful. I love his voice.
Chris Cornell covering Michael Jackson's Billie Jean. If you are going to cover Michael Jackson you have to make the song your own and he did it. Goddamn it those pipes, no wonder I love him. Fun fact, when I was trying to grow some rock style power with my voice, I sang along to Soundgarden in my room by myself in the 90's.
Dave Navarro covering the Velvet Underground's Venus in Furs. I totes used to jerk it to this. While fantasizing about beating Mr. Navarro.
The Chili Peppers covering Roller Coaster of Love. Normally, someone covering this would be verboten but yeah this is good.
