Bind 002 [Video]

[Ulquiorra managed to catch a second pokemon. He's not quite smiling - that's not an expression that's found on his face...ever, really. But he is mildly amused. Somehow, this pokemon seems entirely too appropriate, given the resurrecion form he once had.

[Greed cracks his knuckles and grins like a shark. Lucky and Scout both look eager for battle.]

Awright, lets do this thing. Lucky, you c'n go first.

[Lucky pants happily and bounds forward.]

((ooc: what attacks do they have/what levels are they at?))

[Ulquiorra's got his battle face on now. It's not that much different than his usual expression, except he looks more focused. He hasn't battled anything but wild pokemon so far, so he's curious to see how he'll fare against another trainer]

Uno, you'll fight first.

[With a small declaration of "Bulbasaur", Uno steps forward]

(OOC: Segunda is at level 5 and has Leech Life and Supersonic, Uno is at level 9 and has Tackle, Growl, Leech Seed and Vine Whip. What about Lucky and Scout?)

((ooc: I haven't updated my page yet, I don't do that until Wednesday, but right now Lucky is just newly level 10, and he knows, Ember, Roar, Bite, Leer, and Odor Sleuth, and Scout is just recently level 5 and knows Scratch, Growl, Defense Curl and Quick Attack. c:))

[Greed smirks and considers a moment.] Alright Lucky, bite him!

[Uno isn't lucky enough to avoid the bite and takes some damage from it]

Uno, tackle him.

[Greed frowns when Lucky is unable to dodge the tackle but goes back to grinning in a moment] Alright, now use that creepy stare thing.

[Lucky looks very determined and eager to prove himself. He recovers from the tackle and uses Leer.]

... [Ulquiorra would comment on the 'creepy stare thing', except he's able to use his pokegear to look up the attack and find that it's called "Leer". He watches as it affects Uno, and decides to escalate the battle a little]

Uno, use your vine whip.

((ooc: if it's alright, I'm going to assume that the vine whip acts like the one in the show does. Just lemme know if I need to change it XD))

[Greed looks momentarily confused, but then his face sets in a determined expression] C'mon Lucky dodge it!

[Lucky attempts to leap out of harms way, but unfortunately not quite fast enough. He yelps as a vine wraps around his foot, and then lifts him a short distances and whips him into the ground. Greed winces in sympathy and then grits his teeth.]

Shit! Lucky, set 'im on fire!

[Lucky shakes himself to recover from the daze from being vine whipped. He seems to be mostly fine aside from being a little roughed up, then opens his mouth to release a cone of flames at the bulbasaur.]

FOOOOOSH

(ooc: Perfectly fine with me! My pokemon-fu is weak and I've been checking bulbapedia when in doubt)

Uno, dodge.

[Uno side steps and ducks, but doesn't manage to completely avoid the flames. His front left leg takes the brunt of the attack, though he's lightly singed elsewhere]

Use leech seed, Uno.

[Ulquiorra's not accustomed to feeling this for anyone or anything, but he's actually concerned for Uno's well being. Being burned like that would hurt.]

[Lucky growls and yelps as the little vines from the seed wrap around him and collect a bit of energy for Uno, and stumbles a bit, looking like he's in a haze. Greed frowns in concern for him, but Lucky regains more lucidity an looks determined to win this fight. Greed grins.]

Alright, bite his leg.

[Lucky lurches forward, at about 3/4ths his normal speed and makes to sink his teeth into the bulbasaur's injured leg.]

[Uno yelps out 'bulbasaur!' when Lucky's teeth sink in. As interesting as it is to see them fight, Ulquiorra needs to guide Uno as best he can. 'Tackle' is unlikely to be effective with an injured leg, he thinks]

Uno, use your vine whip on him.

[Uno's limping, but sends out the vines at Lucky once more]

[Lucky isn't able to dodge at this range, but Greed doesn't mind. Just as the vines wrap around him, Greed calls out to him.]

Burn him again, Lucky!

[Lucky opens his mouth and belches a tongue of flame at the other pokemon.]

FOOOOSH

[The attack was well planned, and does a good amount of damage to Uno, who only weakly picks Lucky up before just dropping him. Still, neither pokemon nor trainer intend on giving up just yet]

Use leech seed again, Uno.

[action] School really did eat me D: sorry this is so late! greedismyname November 13 2010, 05:53:02 UTC
((ooc: Oh the first leech seed would still be working, so is it okay if I assumed this 2nd attempt failed? If not I'll just delete and start over. Also, is Uno going to faint next turn? If not, then Greed is sending out his other pokemon. :D))

[Greed looks perplexed as the seeds just fell to the ground in front of Lucky] Alright Lucky, use that fire again!

[Lucky looks a bit worn but he barks in agreement and uses Ember yet again.]

[action] It's okay! School does that. Take all the time you need. :) disdainfortrash November 14 2010, 04:44:08 UTC
(ooc: Oops. My pokemon-fu is weak. ^_^;; That's okay to assume, then. This is the first battle that hasn't been with wild pokemon, so I'll just go with Ulquiorra not knowing it wouldn't work. Uno's been draining some of Lucky's HP, so he won't faint next turn...but probably right after Greed's second pokemon's first attack if he doesn't call Uno back and send out Segunda)

[Well, it looks like it was pointless to use leech seed once it had initially been used. It was a lesson learned. An attack wasted, but a lesson learned nonetheless.]

Uno, dodge it.

[Uno manages to roll gracelessly out of the way of the bulk of the attack. Ulquiorra can tell he won't even be able to manage that much longer, and it's only the fact that he's been draining health from Lucky that's allowed Uno to keep up this long]

Uno, vine whip.

[Uno sends out the vines in the hopes of taking Lucky down.]
