Mod crap
I was just sitting here in my sweltering Bronx apartment thinking it would be cool to have a place to discuss the last book as we read because members of this fandom have spent so much time thinking, rereading, recreating, and discussing the six existing books. I realize some people may just want to tear through the book and discuss it after. That is cool too. You can do that here too. Just be careful not to spoil other readers.
The rules for this comm are very simple. The mods will create a post for each chapter in advance of the release of Deathly Hallows. Approved members can respond to the posts as they read the chapters, or after they have finished the book, whichever they like. The crucial rule here is NO SPOILING. You can talk about anything that happens in the chapter the post is labeled with, but nothing that happens afterwards.
So if you want to join in here:
1. Apply for membership and we'll approve you as long as your journal is not brand new or empty, because that means you are probably a troll.
2. Drop by the pre-release discussion post and tell us what you are hopeful or worried about.
3. Get your book on the 21st and start reading!
4. Come chat as you are reading or after you are done. Be civil. Be respectful. Have some fucking fun.
