Little help, please?

Hey all, so I'm sending an Email to the contact for the job in StL because I have a few questions for them.  But, seeing as I've never done this before, I'd like to make a reasonably good impression, & am hoping if you have a moment you can read the intended Email (below) & offer suggestions.  Or praise, if it's just that good.  ;-)

Dear Associate Dean X

Hello, my name is Y, and I am a PhD candidate in Classical Studies at the University of Q.  I saw your posting for the College, and was interested in applying, but wanted to ask you a few questions first.

Are you still accepting applications for the pool?  Would accepted applicants be offered an opportunity to teach in the fall, or is the fall schedule already entirely determined and does acceptance simply mean that you would be in the pool for the spring semester?  Does the school determine the topic(s) for the sections of a class, or are instructors given one of the classes (e.g. Inquiries in the Humanities) and then asked to create a syllabus for their section?  How many classes/sections does each lecturer teach?  What is the financial compensation, and is it based on the number of classes/sections a lecturer teaches?

Thank you for your response to my inquires, I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Regards

Thoughts?  Opinions?  Help?  Thanks.  :-)
